The reason for this course is to introduce students to the major lawful, ethical and policy issues identified with the mass media. This will be achieved by exposing students to essential records and cases and as well as the techniques for analysis. Upon fulfillment, students ought to have the capacity to clarify in expansive setting, existing media law and strategy and have the capacity to study and analyze future laws and policies. Students ought to likewise have the capacity to explain the ethical issues that are significant to media conduct.


What Will I Learn:
1 Develop a basic understanding of the Ghana legal system.
2 Develop a fundamental understanding of legal research.
3 Develop a working knowledge of the basic and concepts of ethical assumption in other to develop a proficiency in moral reasoning with regard to ethical problem solving in the media.

  • Time of Lecture: Monday - Saturday (Flexible)

    • Duration: Six (6) Hours Per Week (Flexible)

      • Course Total Period: Twelve (12) Months

      • Course Total Cost Fee: GH¢ 4000 (First six months GH¢ 2000 & Second six months GH¢ 2000)

      •   Course Details: Theory during the week & Practicals over the weekend


      • Required Number of Students: One (1) - Thirty (35)

      • Course Requirements: SHS Graduate (Minimum)
