If you want to be a designer you have to be a maker, a communicator, which simply means that this course will give you lots of opportunities to get your hands dirty with exercises and with more practical works.
At the end of this course you will have learned how to examine and analyze visual depiction through a range of image-making procedures; have understand fundamental principles of working with color, shape and pattern; have uncovered the language and expertise of typography; and grasp and have applied the concepts of composition and visual differences. If you complete the course, you will have the main set of graphic design skills that you can relate to your own projects, or to more deeply analyse a specialized area of graphic design.
